The purpose of our Youth Ministry is to lead our youth to an authentic Christian faith by encouraging, teaching, supporting and equipping them to take the lifelong journey of following God through Christ.

Youth ChristCare Small Groups

Youth ChristCare small groups follow the ChristCare Ministry model and training (see ChristCare Ministry). Our youth ChristCare groups are for students in grades 6 - 12. The small groups, usually 6-12 youth are led by a trained ChristCare group leader. The groups meet regularly at church. Four key elements are part of each group: care and community, prayer and worship, Biblical Equipping, and missional service. All groups create a covenant around things like purpose of the group, time, location and duration of meetings, and promises group members make to one another. Youth ChristCare small groups allow members to experience community within as they reach out to others with the love of Christ.

The following groups are currently meeting following our 10 AM Youth worship service on Sundays:

  • Snap Shots of Faith - Explore faith and photography. No photographic experience necessary - just a willingness to learn, share and have fun!
  • How to Be a Christian Without Being Religious - This is a book study group for youth. We will start with the book by the same name, How to be a Christian Without Being Religious, Fritz Ridenour. The group will meet at 10am on Sundays in the Youth Room.
