We will take our 19th trip to Orland Maine in June 2008, where approximately 75 high school volunteers, 30 adult leaders, and 15 College Leaders will help improve the lives of those within that rural community.

"NEW & IMPROVED SIGN-UP PROCEDURE"

June 22 - 28, 2008

This year will begin a new process for signing up for the H.O.M.E. Trip - please read the instructions below……… we are changing to a Pre-Sign-Up Process so you can drop off your application quickly. We will not be tracking the order or time an application is received so you can come at your leisure anytime during the sign-up night on Tuesday, March 25, 6:30 - 8:30 PM. No prior drop-offs accepted!

Forms may be dropped off in Lund Hall by the participant and/or a parent. Forms will be reviewed immediately and any corrections will need to be made at that time.

We are hopeful that this will streamline the process and should minimize your time commitment. You will be notified by mail the following week.

As you may know, each year we try to take as many (or all) of the applicants as possible and will continue to endeavor to do so.

H.O.M.E. Trip 2008 Sign-Up Procedure

PLEASE NOTE…… A CHANGE IN THE REGISTRATION PROCESS

Forms/Money Drop Off Date:
Tuesday, March 25 ~ 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (at your convenience)

  • Come by to drop off all forms and registration money / Forms will be checked - leave a self-addressed stamped envelope

Rally Night Kick-Off:
Tuesday, April 8 ~ 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

  • All youth, notified by mail, planning to participate in this year's trip, must attend the Rally Kick-off accompanied by a parent

Procedure:

  1. Forms for the trip are available to the left under "Sign-Up Forms" (there are 3 total). Forms may also be picked up at The First Congregational Church

  2. Forms must be completed in full, signed by both youth participant and parent. Registration money and a self-addressed stamped envelope must be turned in with the forms the evening of 3/25/08.

  3. Notification will be sent out within a week - hope to take everyone! Please note - in the event you receive your forms/money back in the mail, it is due to being able to take a limited number on this trip.

  4. Rally Kick-Off on 4/8/08, must be attended by those notified and planning to participate in the H.O.M.E. Trip 2008
