Youth H.O.M.E. Service Mission Trip 2008

Working Together, Building Faith

June 22 - June 28, 2008

The H.O.M.E. Trip will return for it's 19th year to Orland Maine, where approximately 75 high school volunteers along with 30 adult leaders and 15 College Leaders will help improve the lives of those less needy within that rural community. The Ridgefield community has continued in increasing its generous support of these volunteers and of the trip over the years.

The work consists of whatever the needs of that community dictate. It ranges from new home construction to repairing existing structures to demolition and reconstruction / additions of homes to make them safer and more adapted to the size of the families occupying them. We serve in whatever way is needed.

This year's trip is scheduled from Sunday June 22th through Saturday June 28th .

Youth volunteers must have completed their high school freshman year by the time of the trip. College leaders must have completed their sophomore year by the time of the trip, while adult leaders can be of any "young at heart" age.
