Music Ministries
The purpose of our Music Ministry is to [1] express, through music, the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, [2] enhance and enliven our worship experience, [3] expand and extend our fellowship with fellow pilgrims, and [5] enrich and enwrap the congregation and surrounding artistic and concert-going communities through the offering of quality sacred and classical music.
FCC's Music Ministry presently enjoys five active choirs (the Chancel Choir, Celebration Ringers, Crusader Choir, Covenant Choir, and Carol Choir), the Fountain Music Series (a highly-respected and well-attended/supported outreach arm of the Music Ministry), and regular appearances/offerings by numerous individual professional and amateur soloists, instrumentalists, and ensembles. A dedicated Board of Music Ministries meets monthly, and is responsible, together with the leadership of the Minister of Music/Music Director, for continually analyzing and maintaining the Ministry's focus before the congregation and community.
