Music Ministries
The purpose of First Congregational Church's Music Ministry is to [1] express, through music, the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, [2] enhance and enliven our worship experience, [3] enrich our fellowship with fellow pilgrims, and [4] enable participants and listeners alike to make a firm commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
FCC's Music Ministry presently enjoys four active choirs (the Chancel Choir, Celebration Ringers, Covenant Choir, and Carol Choir), the respected Fountain Music Series (a highly-respected and well-attended/supported outreach arm of the Music Ministry), and regular appearances/offerings by numerous individual professional and amateur soloists, instrumentalists, and ensembles. A dedicated Board of Music Ministries meets monthly, and is responsible, together with the leadership of the Minister of Music/Music Director, for continually analyzing and maintaining the Ministry's focus before the congregation and community.
