Fun Facts

Why is Superman so strong? Just as astronauts on the Moon can lift huge objects with ease due to the Moon's weaker gravitational pull (1/6 the strength of Earth's), Superman could lift a car easily because lifting an object on Earth would take 10 times less effort than on Krypton.

Did You Know?

Superman's amazing powers have inspired laboratory research around the world; from x-ray vision at airport security checks, to bulletproof vests five times stronger than steel, to the development of "super-mice" at the University of Pennsylvania.

New Tech Parking Info

The City of San Jose has agreed to open the Convention Center Parking Garage to Tech visitors. This means you can bring your parking stub to Museum Guest Services and receive a discount validation stamp. The garage is located at Almaden Boulevard between San Carlos and Balbach. The garage at Second and San Carlos Streets remains open to Tech visitors, so the parking discount is good there, too. That's the good news.

The bad news is the city is raising parking rates. However, charges will not exceed $5.00 if you park in either garage and have us validate your stub.
