Board of Missions ~ Pivot House
Mission Overview
Founded in 1970 by Reverend Alonzo Smalls, Pivot House is a Christ-centered treatment program for drug and alcohol addiction. With residential facilities in Norwalk and Bridgeport, young men suffering form addiction commit their lives to Christ and receive the support and care only He can provide.
Church members witness the profound impact Christ has had on these men by periodically preparing and sharing in meals with the men and attending their worship service. In addition, Pivot House often brings its participants to worship in Ridgefield.
