Board of Missions ~ Dorothy Day

Mission Overview
Dorothy Day is dedicated to providing a meal to the needy in the greater Danbury area. Each day, Dorothy Day prepares and serves a hot meal for more than one hundred individuals and also provides a lunch for diners to take with them. Dorothy Day ensures that individuals can receive healthy, nurturing food regardless of their economic situation.
One evening every other month, members of the church gather together at the church to prepare the food that will be brought to Dorothy Day. The following day, members gather at Dorothy Day to serve those present.
