"What would Christ do?"

The First Congregational Church and its members actively follow the example of Christ with its mission efforts

Board of Missions ~ Angel Tree

Mission Overview

The forgotten victims of crime are the little children of inmates, who are left without a father or mother. Angel Tree helps break this cycle of crime by sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the children of inmates.

Specifically, each Christmas the church sets up a Christmas tree with the names of children in the program. Members are encouraged to take a name and buy and wrap a gift for that child. Gifts are then given to these children so that they can enjoy the spirit of the holidays even if they are unable to spend it with their parent.
