The Hospitality Committee
The Hospitality Committee serves the need of the church in several ways:
- Coffee Hour: Our Committee members share the responsibility of providing food for the Church Coffee Hours. Committee members also greet people during that time and make Coffee Hour a time of warm and welcoming fellowship.
- Bread Delivery: When the Deacons receive guest cards during services, the cards are passed on to our Committee. A loaf of bread and a note are sent as a welcoming gesture.
- Prospective Member Classes: FCC holds classes for prospective new members at various times during the year. Hospitality sets up and provides food for those attending, their children, and the staff members that conduct the sessions. The day that the new members join, we generally provide a celebratory cake for the reception.
- Special Events: Our Committee offers assistance and/or hosts various special events that take place during the Church's fellowship time.
