Recent Significant Events
In 1979, the church house burned to the ground. It is a mark of determination of the congregation that the structure was rebuilt and fully funded within a single year.
Prior to 1987, the congregation enjoyed the devoted attention of the same Senior Pastor for some thirty years.
The church has experienced a period of remarkable growth and diversification during the seven-year tenure of our most recent Senior Minister. The three since his accepting God’s call to a new church has provided us with a time to reflect on our beliefs and the needs to recognize our diversity under the fine leadership of interim ministers.
The congregation is committed to the idea of the widest possible participation in the development of our Mission and Vision Statement to move us into the future.
