Electronic Giving at First Congregational Church
For the convenience of our Members and Friends, the First Congregational Church provides a capability to make contributions electronically instead of writing checks or donating cash. You can make re-occurring or one time contributions by using a credit card or by a direct electronic transfer from your checking or savings account.
Here's how it works: You provide some basic information about yourself. Next specify an amount to be electronically transferred from your checking or savings account to the church account or to be charged to your credit card for payment to the church account. Finally you specify the frequency of the transfer, such as one-time, weekly, monthly, or quarterly. It's fast, safe, easy, and secure.
There are two categories of contributions you can make electronically: re-occurring and one-time.
You can establish an automatic and re-occurring contribution to the General Fund by using a credit card or by a direct electronic transfer from your checking or savings account.
Many members and friends of the First Congregational Church support the church with contributions based upon an annual Faith Commitment. Others simply make periodic contributions. Both of these types of contributions support our Church through the General Giving fund. You can easily set up a regular schedule for making your contributions electronically to this fund.
Our Church supports many wonderful Church, local, national, and worldwide missions and activities. These range from our Church youth programs and the food pantry to Habitat for Humanity and the Heifer Project. You may contribute to any of these outreach activities as often as you would like.
Thank you for your support of the First Congregational Church and for using the e-Giving service. If you have any questions, please feel free to email our electronic contribution coordinator at eGiving@firstcongregational.com or call the Church office at 203-438-8077.
All contributions are fully tax deductible and you will receive a statement summarizing your giving.
