Words – in any language – are not adequate to express my gratitude for your loving and enthusiastic welcome on May 6th, and for the wonderful reception in Lund Hall. I am humbled and moved by your call to serve as your Associate Minister. I officially begin working full-time at the church the third week in August, but I am eager to hear from you NOW about your hopes, your dreams of a flourishing family ministry, and your thoughts on youth ministry. One of the reasons that I was so pleased to return to this church is because of its strong lay leadership. When we all understand ourselves to be ministers serving joyfully wherever the Lord leads, we truly can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. (Philippians 4:13)
