Deacons ~ How We Work
The Deacons first duty is to provide the elements for Holy Communion and, at the invitation of the minister, to aid in their distribution. Deacons also provide lay leadership during worship services, assist the ministerial staff in a variety of tasks such as Baptisms, Dedications, New Members Classes, and help organize special worship services during the year. The By-Laws call the Deacons to guard faithfully the spiritual interests or the Church, visit the sick, and minister to the edification and comfort of all.
