Children's Ministries ~ Church School
Childcare and Church School classes are available for children and youth:
- Infant Nursery - birth to toddler
- Toddler Nursery - through age 2
- Age-Graded Classes for 2 year olds through 5th grade
- Mission workshop for 6th, 7th and 8th grades
A volunteer-staffed church school program serves children from age 2 through 5th grade. Children are dismissed to church school from the sanctuary during the 10am worship service and guided to their classrooms by our volunteer church-school teachers following a song and prayer in Lund Hall. Church School classes meet from September through early June and follow age-appropriate curriculum from the Gospel Light publications. A modified summer church school program is also offered. Seasonal activities and programming are added throughout the year to compliment the church's overall mission work and to highlight Christian holiday. A church school handbook outlining the program and annual calendar is available in the Family Ministry Coordinator's office.
FCC's Mission Workshop is open to grades 6 and up and combines biblical instruction with hands-on mission activities each week. Staffed by parent volunteers, including Christ Care trained leaders, The Mission Workshop is next door to the Family Ministry Coordinator's office. Children interested in participating may start in the sanctuary with their parents until dismissed ot the workshop during the 10am worship service.
