Children's Ministries ~ Sunday School
Sunday School is provided during the 10:00 am service for children ages 3 through grade 5. The Youth Board provides Sunday School for grades 6 -12 at 10:00 am as well. The Sunday School utilizes a Bible-centered, exciting curriculum. The children learn from both the Old and New Testaments. On most Sundays, we begin with children in the Sanctuary with their families to gain exposure to the adult worship service before going to their classrooms.
Quarterly, the children spend the second half of their Sunday School hour attending a special children's worship service, JOY Worship, which is held in Lund Hall.
Our Sunday School program runs for the entire calendar year, with a modified schedule during the summer. During the summer and on several Sundays during the regular school year, we hold Alternative Sunday School. Alternative Sunday School simply combines several grades to work on a special project or topic.
We offer a children's craft night on Wednesdays at 5:00 pm prior to the Wednesday evening church night dinner and service.
We will continue to explore new ways to enrich our Christian education program and offer an exciting experience to our children. Your suggestions are welcomed.
