THIRD GRADE BIBLE
PRESENTATIONS
Each year in October, all of our third graders are given a Bible in a brief ceremony during Church Services.
WREATH MAKING, ADVENT DINNER,
HANGING OF GREENS
Bring your family and share in food, fellowship and Advent wreath making for a small fee. A short service is held in the sanctuary to celebrate the hanging of the greens. The dinner is sponsored by the Children and Family Ministries Board.
CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
All children are invited to participate in the annual presentation of the Christmas story. A young people's orchestra and children's choirs provide special music to celebrate the birth of Christ. Traditionally, the pageant takes place at 4:oo pm the first Sunday in December.
FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE
The 4:00 pm Christmas Eve Service is designed for families with young children. The nursery provides care for infants and toddlers.

ASH WEDNESDAY
CHILDREN'S SERVICE
Families are invited to prepare for Lent with a service of contemplation, prayer, and a special children's sermon. Recognition of the Lenten Mission Project is presented - - Heifer Project International.
GOOD FRIDAY
All children (ages 5 through the 5th grade) are invited to The Good Friday Children's Event for a brief worship service in the Sanctuary and then off to Lund Hall for Lenten crafts and pretzel making.
EASTER FAMILY SERVICE
Every Easter, a special Family Service is held in the sanctuary. The service provides a distinctive message for both children and parents.

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY
This service truly celebrates the children of our church family. With their respective Sunday School classes, children prepare and lead the entire The message of the morning is presented by the children's choirs at the 10:00 am service.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
The church is filled with laughter and love for the Lord as the children spend a fun-filled week learning about God through stories, crafts, games, snacks and lots of fun. This summer event is held each year in July. Download 2008 Registration Form</p>
COMMUNION TRAINING
Every two years, in the spring, a class for Communion education is offered by the senior minister and the children's minister for families with children who are interested in learning more about the communion service and receiving communion.
