Our Adult Ensembles
THE CHANCEL CHOIR

Rehearsal: Thursdays, 7:30 PM and one Saturday each month
The Chancel Choir is comprised of a healthy combination of trained and untrained singers. This all-volunteer Choir explores quality choral literature from all periods of music history as it strives to present exciting, challenging, and meaningful Christian music. Group vocal techniques, church music history, prayer, and Christian fellowship are also emphasized in the weekly rehearsals. This Choir sings most Sundays between September and, and, in addition, presents several choral/orchestral works annually in concerts on the church's Fountain Music Series. Open to all ages, high school through adult, the Chancel Choir meets on Thursday evenings, at 7:30 p.m. and one Saturday each month, in the Music Room. New members are continually accepted on a full-time, part-time, seasonal, and Concert-Choir-only basis.
THE CELEBRATION RINGERS

Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 5:30 to 7:30 PM
The Celebration Ringers is an ensemble of thirteen focused handbell ringers that performs on the church's five-octave set of Schulmerich handbells. Comprised of volunteers with a wide variety of backgrounds, the Ringers' typical musical fare encompasses hymntune elaborations, original handbell compositions, and orchestral transcriptions. Ringers' performances employ a wide variety of interesting and entertaining ringing techniques, and have garnered a distinct 'following' from the FCC congregation and community. The Celebration Ringers participate in worship once a month, perform one full-length handbell concert annually in the Spring on the Fountain Music Series, and warmly welcome and encourage new members and/or substitute ringers any time of the year.
